ECOWES, a regional leader in battery and accumulator recycling, took part in the International Congress for Battery Recycling (ICBR 2025), the industry’s flagship event, held in Valencia, Spain, between 10–12 September 2025.

The company’s presence at booth 43 provided a valuable setting for meetings with key industry stakeholders—manufacturers, recyclers, technology developers, and traders—and for showcasing its proprietary battery recycling technologies.
Throughout the event, the ECOWES team actively contributed to discussions on:
- the future of the European battery industry;
- challenges within the secondary raw materials supply chains;
- increasing recycling rates and the recovery of strategic metals;
- developing sustainable solutions for the circular economy.

By participating in ICBR 2025, ECOWES strengthened its position as a trusted partner within the European battery ecosystem and opened new avenues for international collaboration.
“Participating in ICBR 2025 was a strategic opportunity for ECOWES to validate our technologies, strengthen existing relationships, and initiate new partnerships within the European battery industry,” said Horia Irimescu, CEO & Founder of ECOWES.
Through its presence at this congress, ECOWES reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the development of a robust European value chain for battery recycling.
