Over time, authorities such as the Romanian Customs Authority, the Environmental Protection Agency, ANAF – Confiscated Goods Recovery Department, the Police Inspectorate, and other competent institutions have chosen to collaborate with ECOWES for the safe and compliant recycling of seized batteries.
Today, ECOWES received a new batch of confiscated batteries at its facility in Jilava, for controlled recycling. The process was carried out using modern technological lines that allow the complete treatment and efficient, environmentally responsible separation of components. All operations were closely supervised by delegated public authorities and were conducted in full compliance with the applicable environmental protection and hazardous waste management legislation.
