The remaining light fractions are processed in a density-based system adapted for low-density materials, yielding high-purity copper and aluminium, as well as recyclable technical-grade plastic.

Masa neagra, compusa din amestecul fin de Li, Co, Ni, Mn si alte elemente active, este colectata intr-un mediu controlat pentru a evita oxidarea. Este stocata in containere etanse, pregatita pentru rafinare hidrometalurgica sau pirometalurgica.

Fractiile grele trec prin separatoare magnetice de inalta intensitate pentru extragerea ferosurilor, apoi prin clasificatoare densimetrice pentru separarea cuprului, aluminiului si componentelor plastice dense.

Un sistem de clasificare pe baza de flux de aer si diferenta de densitate separa materialele grele (metale, masa neagra) de fractiile usoare (folii, separatori polimerici). Parametrii de viteza si presiune a aerului sunt calibrati in functie de granulometria materialului.

Under controlled temperature and reduced pressure, the volatile electrolyte is vaporized and directed to condensation units. The result is high-purity recovered electrolyte, ready to be reintroduced into industrial processes.

Bateriile criogenizate sunt introduse intr-un sistem de shredder. Granularea controlata permite separarea preliminara a materialelor si pregatirea pentru extractia electrolitului.

Cells undergo cryogenic treatment with liquid nitrogen, lowering the temperature below -150 °C. This step eliminates the risk of self-ignition, makes the material structure more brittle, and facilitates subsequent shredding, reducing the release of toxic vapours.

Battery modules and packs are dismantled mechanically and manually down to the individual cell level. Connectors, cooling plates, and casings are separately collected and labelled. Complete isolation between cells is ensured to prevent short circuits in subsequent stages.

Inainte de dezasamblare, bateriile sunt descarcate complet intr-un sistem controlat, capabil sa recupereze energia reziduala si sa o redirectioneze catre consum intern sau stocare tampon. Parametrii de descarcare sunt ajustati in functie de chimia celulei pentru a evita formarea de degajari termice.

Depending on sorting results, batteries are temporarily stored in specialized areas equipped with systems that regulate temperature, humidity, and other parameters. These conditions are maintained to prevent degradation or unwanted reactions.

Bateriile sunt identificate si clasificate dupa chimie (Li-ion, Litiu Primar, NiMH, alcaline), dimensiune si stare fizica de catre personal calificat, pentru a asigura un flux optim de procesare. Inainte de dezasamblare, bateriile sunt descarcate complet intr-un sistem controlat, capabil sa recupereze energia reziduala si sa o redirectioneze catre consum intern sau in baterii de stocare. Parametrii de descarcare sunt ajustati in functie de chimia celulei pentru a evita formarea de degajari termice.
