Integrated Solutions
for the Management of Used Batteries
We provide comprehensive services for the entire chain of used battery management – from collection and authorized transport to disassembly, sorting, treatment, and final recycling. We operate with our own infrastructure, trained personnel, and in strict compliance with all applicable legal regulations.
By collaborating with ECOWES, our clients are relieved of direct obligations regarding waste management, benefiting from complete traceability and recycling certificates issued for each processed quantity. Collection
We offer used battery collection services for both generators and authorized collectors, offering solutions tailored to the type and volume of waste generated. All activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legislation, ensuring full traceability and complete documentation (accompanying notices, waste loading/unloading forms, etc.).
Transport
We provide authorized transport for used batteries, with direct pickup from the client’s premises. We maintain civil liability insurance that includes an accidental pollution clause, covering all activities: collection, transport, sorting, recycling, and waste treatment.
Unpacking (blister packs, foil, etc.)
This preliminary stage involves separating the batteries from packaging materials (blisters, foils, boxes), either manually or by mechanized means, depending on the type of packaging. The purpose is to prepare them for subsequent sorting and processing, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
Sorting
We sort the batteries according to their type and chemical composition, directing them to the appropriate technological circuits. This stage is essential for increasing the recovery rate of secondary raw materials and for optimizing the recycling process.
Disassembly
For large-sized or modular batteries (such as those from electric vehicles, industrial equipment, or energy storage systems), we carry out specialized disassembly operations. The purpose is the safe separation of components and their preparation for recycling, in compliance with strict safety standards.
Battery Recycling
We process the batteries using technologies specific to each chemical composition, in authorized facilities, for the recovery of fractions and secondary raw materials (such as copper, aluminium, iron, nickel, zinc, etc.). Recycling is carried out in compliance with environmental standards and material efficiency principles, contributing to the closure of the battery life cycle.
