On 17–18 June 2026, ECOWES participated in Battery Recycling Expo in Frankfurt, Germany, an international event dedicated to battery recycling and critical raw materials recovery. Two days of meetings, valuable exchanges, and discussions about the opportunities and challenges shaping this rapidly evolving industry.
ECOWES Joins the International Conversation on Battery Recycling
The ECOWES stand welcomed existing partners and industry professionals from across the battery value chain, including collectors, battery manufacturers, recyclers, traders, and metal recovery specialists.
Discussions focused on developing new partnerships, market developments, regulatory requirements, and solutions for the efficient management of battery waste streams.
Integrated Solutions for an Evolving Industry
During the exhibition, ECOWES showcased its integrated operational approach, covering the entire process from collection and transportation to sorting, treatment, and black mass production.
With an annual processing capacity of up to 11,000 tonnes, its own industrial infrastructure, and dedicated recycling technologies, ECOWES provides solutions for a wide range of battery types and chemistries, including mixed battery streams, making battery waste management simpler for its partners.
Black Mass and New Business Opportunities
An important part of the exhibition was dedicated to meetings with traders, refiners, and companies specialising in critical metals recovery.
ECOWES presented the technical specifications of its NMC and LCO black mass, with the Certificates of Analysis receiving positive feedback and opening discussions about potential commercial partnerships.
These meetings also provided valuable insights into market requirements and the expectations of international partners.
Beyond the Exhibition: Building Long-Term Partnerships
Participating in Battery Recycling Expo 2026 was an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, establish new connections, and increase ECOWES' visibility in the international market.
The conversations started in Frankfurt are continuing, with the aim of turning new opportunities into concrete collaborations and long-term partnerships.
A big thank you to all the partners and industry professionals who visited our stand and contributed to two days of meaningful conversations!
