Technological Partnership for Battery Recycling
One of our flagship projects involves a close collaboration with our partner, Redivium Australia, with the primary objective of developing a high-capacity recycling plant.
This initiative not only enhances the efficiency of the recycling process on an industrial scale but also ensures the transformation of the resulting fractions into primary raw materials, ready to be reintroduced into the production chain.
Direct Integration of Hydrometallurgical Processes
A key element in the realization of this ambitious project is the direct integration of hydrometallurgical processes into the overall concept of the recycling plant. This approach enables not only the efficient and clean separation of valuable metals and other materials from used batteries but also contributes to the creation of a sustainable recycling process for batteries. The materials obtained can then be reused in the production of new cells, reducing the need for virgin resources and minimizing environmental impact.
Strategic Partnership for Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling in Romania: REDIVIUM, ECOWES, and SNRB
REDIVIUM Australia, in collaboration with ECOWES, the leader in battery collection and recycling in Romania, and the SNRB Association, the national body responsible for recycling, have launched an ambitious project to introduce the country’s first Lithium-Ion battery recycling system. This facility will have an initial processing capacity of 10 tons per day, utilizing the advanced REDIVIUM technology, already successfully implemented in Germany.
